The Accra sanitary sewer and storm drainage alleviation project will address the drainage problem and its attendant perennial flooding in Ghana’s capital city, Accra. It would help to improve health and sanitation infrastructure in the capital and adjourning suburbs with a significant improvement in flood control and solid and liquid waste management.

A 600-bed teaching hospital is being built at the University of Ghana. The project when completed will result in the delivery of better health services to the entire nation, and the West African sub-region and beyond. The Hospital would augment the training of about one thousand (1,000) doctors within 5 to 7 years, which would help to considerably improve the current doctor patient ratio of the country
